Home - Welcome to Guildford Stamp Club

Do you collect stamps and/or postal history?  If so, please come and join us at the GDPS.  Whether you are an expert or a beginner, you can be sure of friendly welcome.  We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from September to May in the Quaker Friends’ Meeting House opposite Guildford Library (GU1 4LH).  Meetings are at 7pm for 7:30pm and usually finish by 9:15pm, providing an opportunity to share ideas and gain knowledge.  Our annual programme includes a wide variety of talks covering single country or thematic collections; displays of social philately; “bring and buy” sales; an informal Club Competition; and a Christmas social evening.  A 'packet' of stamp approval books is circulated amongst the membership several times a year.  The current programme and further details can be found at www.spanglefish.com/guildfordstampclub.  Alternatively, please contact Barry Stephens at barry.stephens1@ntlworld.com or 01483 828630.
