Fair Trade products

At Green Kite, we stock a wide range of Fair Trade Products, including food, gifts, homeware, children’s toys, jewellery, crafts, clothing, bags and greeting cards.  

Here's a summary of what we have available:

Food: good quality teas & coffees, a selection of mouthwatering chocolate, little packs with sweets, crunchy biscuits, healthy dried fruits, hearty mueslibars, fruity jams & chutneys, nutritious rice & pasta as well as nutty breakfast muesli.

Jewellery: a wide variety of delicate and colourful earrings, bracelets & necklaces, silver brooches and rings. Most of our beautiful jewellery is made in India or Africa, but we also stock lovely locally hand-made jewellery.

Gifts: lots of unique gifts for birthdays, Christmas and after-X-Mas presents!

Crafts: wooden photo frames, jewellery boxes, ornaments, and lots of pretty glitzy things.

Homeware: ceramic mugs; recycled glass wine glasses; aprons & tea towels; fibre, rice and bamboo baskets; hand turned salad bowls; scented candles; incense holders; stunning lampshades; as well as a wide variety of cushion covers and duvet sets.

Children’s gifts & toys: wooden puzzles & jigsaws; felt purses; colourful bangles; keyrings; animal pencils; colourful dreamcatchers; and organic cotton soft toys.

Fashion: the best choice of scarves, alpaca woollen hats & gloves, stripey shirts, as well as trendy tops & skirts.

Bags & purses: we have a beautiful selection of women’s hand and shoulder bags, chic purses and evening / party accessories.

We sell products supplied by Traidcraft, Cafedirect and Shared Earth. Some of our other, less well-known Fair Trade suppliers are: Bishopston trading - bags, toys and clothing fromIndia and Bangladesh, One Village - cushions, baskets and bags from India, Bangladesh and the Phillipines. We also stock goods from Namaste and Tearcraft, as well as Rainstick musical instruments
