Service Restored
01 May 2014

It has been a while since this site was updated so here is a bit of a summary.

During 2013 the management took the decision to relocate the site for Glenmutchkin Station from the rear of the house to the bottom of the garden, occupying the space previously taken up by the miltary branch. This means that the line's main station is now at waist height rather than ankle height - much  more convenient when operating.

Construction followed the tried and tested  method of decking planks supported by 40mm Polypipe set in bricks.  Building the base was completed in 2013 and the track laid in April 2014. Scenic treatment is planned. Plans are also in hand to lat a passing loop and a couple of loco spurs below the former Extension Junction.

No new locos have been added to stock. Several items of goods stock have been added.
