48 players started with 8 being female.We started with 6 tables. First session blinds were 100/200 Steady play early on meant things were slow to start and there was no mega-pots as yet. The early entry seat raffle was then drawn and was won by Dave 'Dangerous Dave' Stewart, who wins a seat to the Grand Final to be held in the Chieftain Hotel Inverness over the weekend 4th & 5th December.

Earliest all-in was Chelsea but she did not get a call. First player out was Tracie “Trac The Ace” Williamson. On table 5 things were heating up for Harry Rae who had King high flush against Ace flush but lucky Harry hit the Jack of diamonds on the river to give him a King high straight flush. Session ended with 3 players down. Then we went on a 20 min break.
Session 2
Tournament sponsor Adrian "Santa" Gray out in 3rd

Blinds for this hour were 200/400 First out in this session was tournament sponsor Adrian “Santa” Gray of on table 1 to Kevin Clifton. Charlie then knocked out Robert “Wildefish” Wilde on table 6.

At this stage things were heating up then Babe was knocked out by Chelsea McGhee. Over on table 4 Robert Love was all-in with AQ suited Robert was called and his opponent showed JJ and unlucky for Robert the J's held up. Now the blinds were 400/800 for the next hour.
Session 3
started with 6 players down. The next to go was Dangerous Dave to David Manson, then Aonghas “Bear” MacIver left the tournament in 41st place. Now we were down to 5 tables and lose one more player early on in this session next to go was David Manson in 39th place.
Session 4
We now have 38 players and the blinds are now 500/1000.First out this session was Tina Robertson up against Andrew MacKenzie who had a King flush diamonds.
Next Gareth “The Banker” Hockin went out to Rae Finlayson, both players had hit a pair of queens but Rae's Ace kicker was enough to keep him in.
Session 5
Blinds now at 1000/2000. Paul Adams was next to claim a scalp with his pocket 9's holding up to Vita “Mcvities” Filip who had A J. High drama on table 3 with 3 all-ins. We had AA, JJ, AK suited and with a Jack on the river, as you can tell the Jacks won. Next to go was Tam with AQ all-in for 12,500 Alan AKA David Williamson called him with pocket 3's only for the flop to be A 2 4, turn 9 and then the river 5 for Alan to win with a straight and for Tam to curse a really bad beat. We are now down to 4 tables with 20 mins of blinds left. The next player out was Richard “Dozy” Birkett to Andrew “Chunk” MacInnes.

Then Suzie “The Wrecker” Donaldson went to John “Q10” Newlands, Suzie had A-K and John had A-8 John hitting a runner, runner, straight on the river.
A bad beat indead, anyone that knows Susie and how she handles bad beats were half expecting the police to be called.
William then went all-in with A 9 Charlie called but the flop came 9 A 9. Rae Finlayson then fell to Paul Adams. Next to go was Chelsea who had pocket 6's up against Charlie on Q 10 with Charlie hitting a Q on the flop. End of session 5 with 23 players remaining.
Session 6
Blinds now 1500/3000 John Newlands called all-in with pocket 6's and Chris MacKay called with pocket 4's, this time the 6's held up. William went all-in with big slick only to be called by Paul with J Q suited and Paul took the pot hitting 2 pair. John went all-in with A K to be called by Alans Williamsons pocket 7's and lucky John hit 2 pair to stay in. Charlie went out at this stage to John Newlands. Charlie had pushed with K – 8 Hearts, John calls with J – 9 clubs. John hitting a 9 on the flop leaves Poor Charlie looking for a K on the turn or river . No King and John wins with a pair of 9’s. John then went all-in after a flop after Euan Sutherland bet 9000. Euan called, John showed KQ and Euan showed K9 The flop was K-9-Q turn 2 and river 3 Unlucky Euan, John hits a bigger 2 pair.

Susan Finlay calls Andrew “Chunk” MacInnes all-in, Susan had A 10 Chunk had J 10 with the Ace holding up. 18 minutes left of this blinds we are now playing hand to hand till we get to the last 2 tables. All-in was called by Andy MacGregor, Susan F. calls Andy shows Q 4 while Susan's pocket 8's held up and Andy MacGregor is out in 17th place.
End of day 1
DAY2
FINAL 16 PLAYERS
Blinds are 3000/6000. Steady play early doors, no great betting at this stage till Mark “E-Shark” Urqhuart went all in with pocket 9's John Newlands re-shipped all-in and with A J John hit the Ace on the river and Mark E-Shark is 1st to fall in 16th place on day 2.

First out on day 2.
David Williamson called all-in with pocket Q's and John Newlands called with 7 8 off. ??? David hit a Q on the flop for a nice double up. Next few games were slow then Graham Clifton called all-in against Paul Adams with pocket 6's which saw Graham double up. Ian Calder went all-in with A 5 which was called by Susan F who had AK(this is how I lost most of my chips )!! The flop was 4 2 A with a 3 on the turn and a King on the river. Ian hits a streight. John Newlands called with AQ suited to which Alan Williamson went all-in with pocket A's which held up allowing him to double up. John Newlands went all-in with pocket 3's and Alan Williamson called with A-9 off suit hitting an Ace on the river which put John Newlands out.

We are now down to 14 players. Another one bites the dust when Kevin Clifton called Andrews MacKenzie’s all-in to hit 2 pair on the flop which resulted in Andrew MacKenzie going out in 14th place. David Williamson called with K-Q, Kevin Clifton then went all-in with pocket 6's David calls flop goes K-A-K with turn and river both Q Q’s giving David a full house, knocking Kevin Clifton out in 13th place.

Session 8
The blinds now increase to 5000/10000 Ian Calder called the big blind with his A-Q clubs. Alan “The Dutchman” Holland pushes all-in with K-Q a call from Ian, and the Ace held up. The Dutchman leaves in 12th place. Ian “Troutman177” Calder went all in with pocket 3's Kevin Bain calls him with bullets (A-A) and John MacKay goes all in with pocket Kings. The flop comes down 3-9-A, turn was 6 and river was Q. Kevin Bain wins the pot with a set of Ace’s. With John MacKay eliminated we are now down to 10 players. Raymond “GovanFront”Taylor doubled up at this point, calling Graham Clifton’s pocket 10's with A-Q the flop was 2-9-3 turn 4 and river 5 for a straight on the river. We are now playing hand for hand. Graham Clifton went all-in with K-9 and Ian Calder called him with 8-5 the flop was 6-7-6 turn 10 river 5 giving Ian 2 pair which put Graham out in 9th place.
We are now down to the final table!
FINAL TABLE PLAYERS;
Raymond Taylor, Kevin Bain, Paul Adams, Alan AKA David Williamson, John Farquhar, Chris MacKay, Ian Calder and Susan Findlay.
First hand of the final table was a split pot. Second hand Susan went all in with Q-6 which was called by Alan with 4-9 off suit. The flop was 8-6-3 turn K river J. Susan doubles up. Alan raised 20.000 pre flop Paul Adams re-raises to 85,000 Alan goes all-in and Paul calls. Alan turns over bullets and Paul pocket J's Flop comes 3-K-5 turn A river Q. Paul (paulorder) is out and we are down to 7 players.
The next 3 hands were just flat bets and double ups. Susan went all in A-2 off suit. Raymond calls with J-5 spades but Susan gets a nice wee double up, hitting an A on turn. Susan goes all-in with A-9 called by Alan with K-10 flop comes J-Q-7 turn K and river 6. Alan wins the hand and Susan finishes in 7th place.
John Farquhar goes all-in with A-5, Alan calls with Q-6 and hitting 2 pair puts John out in 6th place.
Raymond goes all-in with Q-Q and Alan calls with 2-2, The Queens held up and Raymond doubles up. The next few hands are fairly even with no-one doing much.
20 minute break.
Session 10
At the restart we lose Kevin Bain quite soon blinds were 7500/15000 with 4 players remaining. The next 3 all-ins were not called so it is as you were. The next all-in was Ian Calder with K-J, Alan calls with Q-Q which held up and Ian finished the tournanment in 4th place.

The next few hands were very cagey with no real betting going on. After a while there was action with Raymond raising to 20,000 which Alan called. Flop goes J-6-J Alan went 50,000 Raymond calls. Turn was a 9 Alan checks, Raymond bets 70,000 Alan folds, nice pot Raymond!
Very cautious play between the 3 remaining players with everyone waiting to see who would make the 1st move. The next hand was to be the bluff of the day!! After the blinds, Alan raised to 50,000. There was no takers and Alan showed 7 2 off suit!!!! 
Session 11
Blinds are now at 10,000/20,000 Chris went all-in with J spades 10 hearts ,Alan called with A spades 4 clubs. Flop comes 10-2-A, turn 9, river 2. Unlucky Chris MacKay finishes in 3rd place. Now we are heads up with Raymond Taylor (govanfront) Thurso and Alan AKA David Williamson Thurso.
Slow steady play with nothing of note to report until after the blinds Alan raised to 40,000. Raymond calls, flop comes 4-2-4 Raymond bets 60,000 Alan calls. Turn 6, Raymond bets 90,000 Alan calls. River 3 both checked Alan shows K-J while Raymond takes a monster pot with K-2. Another couple of no show hands then Alan raises to 50,000, Raymond calls after thinking long and hard. Flop comes 6-8-5, both players check. Turn is a 6, Raymond checks, Alan bets 50,000 Raymond calls, River the 4 of spades, Alan bets 20,000 Raymond calls Alan shows 3-9 off suit and Raymond shows A-7 spades to give him the flush. Chips were going back and forth at this point for a while until Alan raised his big blind to 50,000 which Raymond re-raised to 200,000 Alan called all-in with 460,000 and Raymond called. Raymond shows A-Q off suit Alan shows K-Q of clubs. Flop comes 10-9-10 turn is 6 and the river was 7. A pair of 10’s with Raymond’s Ace kicker win HPT 4.
