Incredible edible Wallbank
We have recently begun our Incredible Edible Wallbank Project. We have been working hard with Green Vale Homes and Incredible Edible Rossendale to create our first set of planters on Wallbank Drive.
Our first ever planting event was held on the 21st October 2012 and was a huge success with between 30 and 40 people coming along to help over the course of the event. We even had the local swans popping by to see what we were up to!
The planters were made by S Bennion Plastering and Property Maintenance from pallets that had been donated by Whitworth Valley Pallets and additional timber from Parr's builders merchants.
We hope to increase the number of planters at the site in spring and in time to expand the project to other areas on the estate.
