Fortrose suffered their first defeat in a month when they lost 1-2 to Maryburgh tonight. Callum MacIver got Fortrose off to a great start with a goal on 8 minutes and they held their lead until late on. However, Maryburgh equalised on 72 minutes and then Michael Kerr brilliantly saved a penalty on 78 minutes. They were not to be denied though as they punished a bad mistake from Jake Cooper to seal the win on 85 minutes.
