4/8/07 - GAIRLOCH 5 - 3 FORTROSE

This match was made totally farcical by a wind that was so strong that it actually blew a shot by Kenneth Whyte into the net! A game of two halves if ever there was one. Fortrose dominate first half and can't take chances as usual so only lead 2-1 at half time thanks to Callum MacIver and Kenneth Whyte. Gairloch, assisted by the ferocious wind and the West coast ref, win the second half 5-1 despite a goal from Sean McGarvey and a spirited last twenty from the Union.
