28/5/07 - FORTROSE 2 - 2 CONTIN
Fortrose came from two down to snatch a point against a strong Contin side at the King George V park last night. Defensive blunders saw the away side 2-0 up after 20 mins but Fotrose went on to completely dominate the match and the Union played some great football. Iain MacKay missed a first half penalty for the Union but Patrick McGarvey made up for this with two competent spot kicks in the second half as Contin totally lost their discipline. Either team could have snatched it late on and the draw was a fair end to a pulsating encounter.
