Its been a good few weeks on the specimen lake with quite a few catfish reported with three over 40lbs  upto a new lake record of 51lb+ to ken chamberlain.

Lots of double figure and 20lb+ carp caught upto 29.08, andy hyden had a 4 fish catch with three over 20 to 24lb.

A bit slower this week with the warm weather and also some carp have spawned.

Over on the runswater, this has also been fishing well with most anglers landing multiple catches with the best reported 50 fish in 24hrs!

Anglers are reminded that it is a two rod only rule on both of these lakes.

Spodding is allowed on the lakes also.
