Trout lake just seems to be switched on at the moment. Many fish are falling to damsels,  small cats whisker and PTN. The fish are not far down so easily accessible with a floating line. 

19 rods caught 98 fish rod av 5.15.

Wayne Naish caught 8 all around 1.5-2.0 range and all on damsels,  other anglers had multiple tickets as the fishing was so good. 

Many anglers reporting plenty of takes and taps from curious fish.  The trout seem quite spread out around the lake. Varying retrieve speed and shortening tails on flies results in fish on the bank.
