A quieter week on the bank. 21 carp reported banked. Craig Wollaston had the best carp at 22-10 mirror, 20-9 common, 16-15 linear and 16-8 mirror. Andy Holder 22-0 mirror and 3 good doubles. Malc Meakin 15-6 mirror ( new stock) Paul Shelton 20-0 mirror. Rich McHugh 19-0 mirror (new stock) Choppa 18-0 mirror and 17-6 common. Martin Yoemans and Royce Howle 31 carp to 11-8 on the runswater. Over the winter months a select number of members will be fishing the runswater and specimen pool targeting the silver fish. These are to be transferred to the racetrack and Matchpool. The annual cropping is to help improve weights of our specimen carp and remove nuisance fish. So expect to see some anglers using keepnets. Only special permission will be granted to members by seeing Pete or Bob.
