Trout really picking up now as the temperatures drop away. An excellent week of sport with surface and just below the water action. Plenty of fish shoaling and moving around the lake. 26 rods took 77 fish to 3.5lbs rod av. 2.96 Andy Pountney fished diawl bachs to get 7 rainbows. Floating fry patterns, by the weed and slow fish buzzer working well. Small green and white cats whisker deadly. The floating weed is clearing away nicely with just some hanging around in the bays, well worth fishing to as the trout hunt the fry among it. New stock fighting really well.
