A very poor week, with hot weather and high water temperature. Trout only feeding briefly on small midges, diaphna and odd dry sedge. Rod average 0.36! We are adding fresh oxygenated water all the time to help, but overall fishing will improve once the lake cools. Plenty of trout in so stock level high, but some fish now getting lice from lethargic behaviour and spending time in margins. Any anglers that catch an infested fish, should kill it and hand it to staff. These fish wont count as bag limit. Many thanks Peter
