A better week on the trout lake 40 rods caught 103 trout 2.57 rod average. Newcomer Andy Hulley managed 6 rainbows for 14lb on a green/black lure. Pete Cleaver had a 5 rainbow catch with fish to 3lb on a dark green buzzer. Still conditions making fishing buzzers difficult, just need a nice ripple to carry the flies round. Dull conditions bringing fish up on the surface, so good sport on small brown sedge and CDC. Well worth fishing a shipmans on the top dropper as a sight indicator. Tight lines Pete
