Sorry for late report A tougher couple of weeks on the trout lake as the fish have an abundance of fly life to choose from. Buzzers, CDC, damsels and bloodworm. Fish been mainly in the upper layers taking dries when not too bright, odd fish to small orange blobs. Rod average 1.8 then 1.5 as condition of flat calm water came. Most fish in the 2lb range and odd brown to 2.5lb stalked out the margins. Cooler and wet weather allowed us to stock a further 250 hard fighting rainbows averaging 2lb. Cheers Peter
