An astonishing week on both specimen and runswater as the carp really get there heads down feeding! Multi catches on the runs with carp to 16lb reported on all flavours of boilie and pellets. The specimen pool saw some good surface action on floaters and under surface zig fishing. Mark James took 17 doubles and a 21lb 4oz mirror on the above method in a quick overnight and day session. Both fishing buddies Tony Cooper and Chris Sterratt had 3 PBs between them and Tony had 36-12 cat and 26-1 common and two 19lb + fish and a heap of doubles . Chris had 25-1 mirror and 26-8 common and a load of doubles and odd single. Switching from surface to bottom baits being affective. Over a dozen 20lb+ fish were banked and a staggering 84 carp banked reported. Young Jago Avey had a perfect 20lb 12 oz common on a floater this fish was caught again 30 mins later by Lenard Christfield ! Craig Randall bagged up with 8 carp to 19lb 10oz and a cat. Dave Taylor 21lb common. Phil Locke 23lb 10oz mirror and 20lb 6oz common. Dunc Forrester 20lb mirror and 19lb mirror. Dave Wheat 27lb 1oz common a new PB. Smiler had 20lb 13oz cat. Chris Gray 24lb mirror. And Richard Miller 20lb 2oz linear. Nice to see many anglers PBs broke.
