A great week of sport with some cracking overwintered rainbows being caught, full finned and beautiful condition. Some good hatches of black buzzer, and alders getting blown onto the lake. Most fish being caught at around 4-6' on damsels, ptn and copper coloured nymphs. Diawl bachs and superglue buzzers all worth a swim. 28 rods caught 105 fish rod average 3.75 best catch Chris Edwards 8 rainbows all over 2.25 lbs average. Chris caught on floating line using ptn, diawl Bach and Montana. Ian Potter had fish of 4lb, 2lb and two at 3lb each on a black leech. Odd brownie showing in the margins. Slow retrieve most productive.
