A fantastic weeks sport 24 rods caught 111 fish rod av 4.6 . Best catch 7 rainbows for over 20lb including fish of 6lb and 4lb, these larger rainbows safely released by Carl Redman and all caught on floating line using a green/black Montana. Carl a regular for many years kept it simple, no sight bobs or special rods and lines, in fact the floating line he used must be over 20years old, a Leeda ideal! Other catches included loads of fish 2.5lb+ on either orange fritz or cats whisker. Bloodworm and damsel also working. Mike Tredwell had a 5lb rainbow to finish the week off.
