Trout lake

29 rods caught 48 fish rod av 1.6
Fishing picked up towards the weekend as the weather cooled.
A fresh stocking of fish improved catches.
Mike Jones took 4 fish for 9.5lbs including a 3lb rainbow on Diawl Bach and buzzers. Plenty fish taking Damsel Nymphs and Montana. Many small black sedges on the surface now.

Specimen Lake

Over 51 carp reported caught including 10 over 20lb best a 23lb mirror, 2 cats over 20lb also caught.
Chris Sterrett and Tony Cooper caught 39 carp between them mostly on floaters.

Match lake Open was won by Nick Lockwood with 79lb 10oz on the pole with paste at 11m. Mostly small carp and good bream. Banded pellet or pellet paste working well.
