29 rods caught 99 fish

Best fish to Richard our regular Polish fly fisher: a stunning 6lb rainbow on a polish nymph, Richard also had another 7 fish all on the same pattern. Mr Petterick took 4 fish best going 3lb on goldhead buzzers.

Plenty of fish on the hunt for buzzers just under the surface, black and red buzzers being favourite.

Montana, GRHE and even dries such as hoppers in both black and brown taking fish off the surface.

Over 41 carp out last week but a quieter week for the cats due to water temperature dropping after the overnight rain last tuesday.

Best carp 21lb 12oz common for Mark James. Best catfish Chris Gray 35lb.

A cracker of a session for Steve Miles ( Smiler)  20lb 14oz mirror, 20lb common, 19lb 6oz mirror, 18lb 2oz mirror and 4 doubles. All fish caught on single boilie hookbaits with stringers.

Plenty of carp showing on the top now willing to take floaters, but do you see anyone going for them? We see so many anglers fishing bottom baits when the fish are clearly on the surface. You can really bag up on the floaters if you get it right.

Batman 2 at 15lb. Mike Elliot 18lb common, 12lb leather and 17lb 8oz mirror. Stuart Langley 7 carp up to 17lb and a 6lb tench.

Lastly Ben Rowley 19lb 6oz mirror and 17lb mirror.

Dave's Run fishing well for the carp on the surface, but also some good bream and roach catches for tip anglers.
