37 rods caught 119 fish 3.2 av

Best fish Jim Kent 3lb rainbow on gold bead buzzer.

Vince Wootton had 3 fish for 6lb 8oz and returned 3 fish on black and red buzzers.

Loads of surface activity and fish well up for diawl bachs, buzzers, bloodworm patterns , sunk daddy and hoppers all good.

Damsel and hare's ear working well.

Anglers are requested to minimize handling of catch and release fish now its warming up .  If you can manage to deal with your catch without removing from water even better.

Please report any sightings of cormorants on the lake to fishery staff.

A brace of cats for Adam Egginton 18lb and 20lb 8oz.

The 35lb 2oz cat caught last week was caught again by Jonathan Linford at 36lb! A 30 minute battle with the fish left Jonathan tired to say the least.

Batman had a 18lb pike believe or not on floating bread!

Plenty carp taking floaters now.

Could all specimen anglers make sure they have either a carp care kit or some Savlon cream or spray for treating any wounds on the fish in their tackle bag.
