Best fish 5lb rainbow caught by John Moore on a Marabou-tail Bloodworm

Ian Pritchard had 4 fish up to 5lb on Montana and Bloodworm .

Still plenty of fish in the 2-3lb range appearing in catches, slow fished lures still working well on floating lines or intermediate.

Would guess with the bitter easterly winds that fish will be down and hardly any hatches of buzzers, so suggest weighted large nymphs like damsel and montana should all work well.

No match results from the weekend as all cancelled due to the snow.

Only one brave night angler on the specimen pool at the weekend and no success!
