Paediatric First Aid / Childrens First Aid

Our Paediatric First Aid training courses are designed to meet the needs of the user. We offer a range of childrens first aid courses that contains child and infant CPR and choking first aid techniques. The training is practical and hands on skills development and if you believe the evaluations, lots of fun as well.

We can run the course at your venue for group sizes of four people upwards.

• A systematic approach to incident management
• Incident management scenarios
• Infant, Child and Adult CPR
• Infant, Child and Adult Choking
• Bleeding - internal/external, major/minor
• Shock - hypovolemic and anaphylactic
• Hypothermia and hyperthermia
• Febrile convulsions
• Treating Damage - suspected fractures, head, neck and back injuries
• Eye injuries and foreign bodies in eyes, ears and noses
• Bites and stings
• Poisoning
• Burns and scalds
• Electric shock Common illness (recognition and management) - epilepsy, asthma, sickle cell anaemia, diabetes
• Record keeping and action plans
