Round the corner. 9.
Dragons' Eggs & Nests
Yet there will be dragons referred to on loaded wagons.
Yes, they will all return preferred to empty flagons.
Yet nests will be hidden in mountain forests forbidden.
Yes, caves will long conceal sheltered dragons eggs to steal.
Yet incubating eggs may hatch when one hears them scrape and scratch.
Yes, these monsters of myth and fiction breathe smoke and flames in this depiction.
Fate Rules.
Fate rules the destiny of Granny's knitting needles
About to be rammed up the nostrils as welding rods, arcing, heedless.
Electrocuting internally the bases of the Devil's horns.
Raising Eyebrows.
That which may disrupt routine
Or disturb the course of duty
Or clog the cogs of their machine,
Raising eyebrows to a beauty.
That which seems quite outrageous
Or emphasises tutti frutti
Or tricks the sick whilst still contagious,
Raising eyebrows to a beauty.

Playing Pass the Paranoia.
Like juveniles assembled
To celebrate occasions
In the festive seasons
These inebriates have trembled
At parlour performances
Of Musical Chairs, Blindman's Bluff,
Postman's Knock, nothing rough,
Pass the Parcel in circumstances
When adults lie and frolic in the foyer
Playing Pass the Paranoia.
