Potted History of Hull#37

The original purchase on 12th March 2010 was made by the private company of a Belgian businessman. Hence no VAT was made at this juncture. The owner was fortunate to own more than one yacht, and this one was sailed to Denia (Spain), via Gibraltar, for holiday use in the Mediterranean. During May 2012 it was acquired by two French brothers.

This private purchase was financed through a French Yacht Leasing Scheme, the monthly payments for which included fully itemised amounts in conformance with the crystallisation of the vessel's VAT liability. During the summer of 2012 the family toured the nearby Balearic Islands, before transferring the yacht to Brittany the following year. When the lease was bought out in June 2014 the two brothers became the legal owners and acquired the documentation confirming that all due VAT had been paid.

At this time my partner and myself purchased the yacht and sailed her to the UK, locating her on the Scottish west coast, where we have enjoyed using her these past 5 seasons for family cruises. We have owned several monohull cruisers throughout the past twenty odd years, plus a cruising catamaran. Kanga-Roo-Too has provided us with a fantastic introduction to trimarans, and she certainly stands out from the crowd. For this year she is based on the Clyde coast, to be within easy access of Glasgow or Prestwick airports.

A comprehensive vessel history is available, along with copies of all relevant paperwork, fully documenting the provenance of the vessel and its VAT paid status.

She has accumulated 934 engine hours.
