We are trying to schedule an event in the near future to record memories on historic mining operations in the Douglas Valley and surrounding areas.  We hope this will provide an opportunity for other coal miners, past and present, to get together, share experiences and contribute first hand memories for future generations.  It will be held in the DRG / Job Club Office, 47 Main Street, Douglas.  All are welcome to contribute and attend and we will keep you posted of the date.
