Path Survey & Design Basics
This one day training course will provide a 'hands on' introduction to path survey and design.
This course is aimed at community groups, who are interested in creating new, or upgrading existing paths in their local area. The course is particularly of value to those new to path development and maintenance.
By the end of this course, you will have some understanding of:
· The different range of path types, locations, users, features and problems
· How to survey a path and record its condition and work required
· The different constructed layers of a path and their function
· And much more…
There will be opportunity to have a go at surveying a local path in Douglas using basic surveying kit.
