PAN -TO - MANIA  -- SHOW NO.29

Pan-to-Mania was performed in Douglas Primary School from 12th to 15th March, 2008.  Barry Strang, one of our younger members, wrote and produced the show, assisted by stalwards Jimmy Clarkson and Kerr Finlay.

The Show was based on "Peter Pan" but, as usual, was turned, twisted and otherwise "Douglasised" as is our custom.  The Show had drama, excitement, romance, violence, humour and lots of music and dance, with a serious struggle between Pan, Tink, Hool, The Pirates, The Indians and ofcourse the Lost Boys.

Amongst the Lost Boys were four newcomers - Shannon, Ruth, Charley and Jennifer who joined Emma and Jodie in the gang.  Some say they stole the show - well maybes "aye" and maybes "naw".

The Show was a great success and  a financial success too, which allowed us to donate £3,000 to local groups, local causes and local support groups.  We have, in the cast and production team, several members who have been involved in every show - a remarkable feat.

There was a wide range of local talent on stage, back stage and front of stage which gives us confidence for future years.
