Congratulations to skip Ian Bairner and his rink Graham Cowan, John Mitchell and Evan Owen-Smith on their recent triumph in the Alexander Clarkson League.

 

After a tight season is which only two points separated the top four rinks Ian took the title, on shots, following a defeat to Peter Gemmell in the final game of the season.

 

Graeme Coke was second, 5 shots behind, with John Trainer and Ian Fleming making up the top four rinks.

 

With the league now over, attention now turns to the cups. Can Bairner manage the double or is there another name destined for silverware?
