Invergordon Model Flying Group

The Invergordon Model Flying Group (IMFG) is a group of individuals who enjoy their flying without the bureaucracy of club officialdom.  The Group is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (Reg No 2582) and it is run in accordance with their rules, guidelines and safety codes.

The flying field is located ½ mile south of the A9 at Lower Kincraig near Invergordon, Ross-shire. (grid ref: OS 21 697 704). It is an excellent field which is well maintained with virtually no obstructions.  The Group also has use of a small Loch in the area for float plane enthusiasts.

Flying at the field is permitted every day of the week though only electric flying on Sundays.  The majority of flying takes place on a Saturday starting at 10.00.  Flying at the Loch is Monday to Friday.

IMFG gives free instruction on a voluntary basis to novice members, with the expectation that they will give instruction free to future novice members.

All members have to be insured by either the BMFA or SAA.
