PROPOSED NEW HOUSING AT MOOREY SPOT FARM
Proposed New Housing on Greenbelt land west of the village at Moorey Spot Farm.

The Parish Council has been informed that an application has been made to obtain Planning Permission for an estate of 10 large detached houses with associated landscaping and access roads following demolition of existing buildings on the greenbelt at Moorey Spot Farm.
The Parish Council have objected to this proposal, because it is on greenbelt land and because we are currently having 270 houses in the process of being built on what was greenbelt land on the West side of the village now and we do not need another commercial housing development in this location. Additionally, one of the main concerns of residents completing our recent questionnaire for our emerging Neighbourhood Plan was that they did not want any further house building on the greenbelt at Dinnington. Although the statutory consultation period has expired, the council will still accept comments until the determination date. If you wish to object to this proposal we recommend you email adam.nilsson@newcastle.gov.uk or write to Adam Nilsson, Planning Officer, Development Management, Civic Centre, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH and register your individual objection, asap. The ref. no for the proposal is: 2018/1100/01/DET
