Exciting changes are underway at Dinnington Allotments, with a newly elected Executive Committee now in place. The team, led by Chair Steve Henderson, Secretary Paul Courtney, and Treasurer Dave Malthouse, is committed to improving site management and fostering a stronger community. Key updates include:
- New Tenancy Agreements – A revised agreement, approved by the Parish Council, will soon be issued to all plot holders.
- Community Involvement – Members are encouraged to help maintain communal areas, with a new noticeboard being installed for better communication.
- Upcoming Events – Plans for seed-sharing gatherings, social BBQs, and greater involvement in the village Leek Show.
- Sustainability Focus – Encouraging composting, pollinator-friendly planting, and responsible water usage.
- Expansion Plans – Work is underway to create additional plots for those on the waiting list.
