2022 FRONT GARDEN COMPETITION
Judging of the best front garden in the village took place on Thursday 21st July and the winners are in:-
FIRST PLACE goes to
35 Horton Crescent. The Armstrong Family
SECOND PLACE Joint winners
33 Cochrane Terrace, Mr & Mrs J.W.Stephenson
6 North Mason Lodge, Mr & Mrs A. Worman
THIRD PLACE goes to
37 Sycamore Avenue, Mr & Mrs M. Old
The judges also highly commended 14 Ash Avenue, Ms Carol Storey. Although not a front garden the entrance from the road to the front doors of the flats has been made colourful with a wide variety of flowering plants all planted in pots.
