FRONT GARDEN COMPETITION
During the third week in July Parish Councillors between them viewed the front gardens of all of the homes in the village to compile a short list of those going forward to the final judging.
This took place of Saturday 24th July by a team of four, three Parish Councillors and one independent judge. The standard of those on the short list was very good and the marking proved to be very close, so much so that were tied on points for the first prize. They were the gardens of
33 COCHRANE TERRACE
and
38 HORTON CRESCENT
The two runners up were the gardens of
16 CASTLEWAY
and
35 HORTON CRESCENT
