WELCOME to our website which aims to be a source of information for matters concerning the Parish of Dinnington in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The small village of Dinnington lies about 9 miles (14 km) north of the city centre, and is situated near Newcastle International Airport. Dinnington Parish Council serves the community of Dinnington and some of the surrounding farms. Newcastle Council is the larger local authority which provides the other services not supplied by the Parish.

Parish Council Meetings
The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held in the Memorial Institute Hall next to the Village Hall, Main Road, Dinnington, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE13 7JW, commencing at 6.30 p.m. on
Wednesday 16th October 2024
If you would like to attend any meeting of the Parish Council, please feel free to come along to one of our meetings, which are ordinarily held on the third Wednesday of each month (except August) usually in Dinnington Memorial Institute Hall at 6.30 p.m.
The general public are welcome to attend and will be given an opportunity to bring forward any concerns or comments if they wish. A Public Forum enables members of the public to raise items.
We have an active parish council, determined to make a real difference to Dinnington. Our parish council's key objectives are to improve village facilities, to encourage and support an active events and activities programme, to improve the village’s appearance and to represent the village’s interests.
