De Core is an incorporated non-profit organization established to develop carnival arts within the creative industries with two sister companies – De Core Limited (London, UK) – Company Number 08123621 and De Core TnT registered with the Registrar General, Ministry of Legal Affairs, Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago – Company Number C2013060303731

2012

Incorporated in 2012, De Core Limited (London, UK) comprised of an award winning team of qualified artisans committed to the advancement of Carnival Arts globally.  All team members were former costume producers at Yaa Asantewaa Arts Centre with various skillsets, who did productions for Notting Hill Carnival in London plus other towns and cities in the United Kingdom and Europe, including Aalborg and Copenhagen in Denmark; Bielefeld and Hamburg in Germany, and Paris in France. The group work also extends into Calabar, Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.

2013

De CORE TT started when a group of loyal supporters and friends of Earl Thompson a renown King of the Bands competitor, decided that it was time to rally around this veteran ‘ mas man’ in order to focus on his achievements and galvanise them under a unique mas band.

De Core TnT was offically launched in June 2013 in order to fill the void for a band that is unique and gives priority to new ideas, techniques and ways of working, whilst preserving historical traditions and legacies and ensuring masquerade portrayal as Key.

De Core Limited(London, UK) and De Core TnT will engage its collective skills to provide services to the sector and other Creative Industries in Trinidad and Tobago, the United Kingdom and globally.
