New site idea
Re Creative Collaborations
Greetings - hope you are well - I feel much better and able to see a way through to present Creative Collaborations in a good way
I can phone this evening - your time - to talk it through ? I am up now so any time you Wednesday evening
This is my plan to get it sorted:
I create a new website www.creativecollaborations.space
entitled: Creative Collaborations - Yasus Afari brings Jamaican poets together from the four UK countries and Jamaica / then later 'around the world’ / or Jamaican Diaspora
Then we have …..
an introduction from you and an invitation to watch past Poetry in Motion and Jamaica Poetry Festival via links
Creative Collaborations: about the project and thanks to the Arts Councils in UK
Then …
Scotland - with named Jamaican Heritage poets in Scotland
Wales -
Ireland -
England -
Jamaica -
…… We can add other countries eg US, Canada when we want to

Can we stage a special ‘Black History Conversations’ Jamaican Poetry Special on Saturday 28th January at 9am in Jamaica, 2pm in UK - when we invite the poets who can make it - and only them, plus you and me and Simon if we use his Zoom - I’ll see - so the poets can introduce themselves and we share one of their poems recorded on line, and we launch the website - and then promotion in Press and on line - directing people to 'Poetry in Motion’
Then we will put the link on the website
What do you think? - this is all manageable and cost effective - it showcases poets work and we can pay an honorarium of £50 to poets listed on site and £100 ?? for those who join us on Sat 28th Jan
Then you can be paid for your input and efforts - as soon as we can free up the money in Wales which should be soon. We can talk that through again.
