Funding...

In order to fund for this project we needed to raise some money. We developed a range of fund raising ideas and agreed on a non-school uniform day of which each child made a small contribution towards the costing of the materials for the music trail. From this event we made over £60 towards our funding.

Although the majority of the materials required for the music trail were recycled, we needed to purchase some materials and resources in order for our music trail to be made strong and for it to last in the outside environment. 

We approached many companies and through visits, emails and plenty of negoiation we received many discounts and donations for our project.

A visit to B&Q resulted in smiles all round with 50% off our purchases.

Homebase were also supportive of the project and gave us 20% off hardware materials.

With these discounts and further donations from small local companies we were able to fund and resource the music trail.
