CLASSIC SWING, are a team of seven experienced and dedicated North East musicians who are committed to bringing you top quality entertainment through their music, which features some great songs from the Swing and Jazz era, plus a few original compositions and arrangements. The band is probably the best band playing this genre in the region.

We are based in the North East of England and play regular venues on Tyneside, where we have a loyal fanbase who regularly support our gigs.

If you are interested in booking the band just get in touch to check availability and whether we can meet your budget requirements. We are able to  downsize and perform as a smaller unit, ie trio/quartet etc, with vocalist if required, for smaller venues!

Our music is an entertaining mix of Swing & Jazz with vocals, we feature some very experienced and talented musicians, who can play in a variety of jazz genres, including swing, traditional jazz, dixieland, etc. We have a considerable repertoire including a few original compositions & arrangements, and can vary the program to suit the venue/occasion.  The music is equally suited to dancing or listening!
