Storytelling

I have recently become interested in Story-telling. I like to think of it  as an invitation to smile in recognition of truth, of human frailty and hope.

This includes stories from the great spiritual traditions of Hasidism, Sufism and the Desert Fathers; folk tales and legends from different cultures which illuminate universal themes of our humanity; stories of the heart, stories for the second half of life.

I would like to offer simple Ceilidh evenings of story-telling, shared food, perhaps poetry and music. These could focus on a particular theme, could be a way to raise funds for a project, such as peace and justice, care for the environment or reconciliation.

If this might be of interest please contact me.
