Our bulding includes a main playroom that allows children to engage in a variety of learning experiences within several accessible areas,

*A quiet reading corner,

*An energetic music table,

*A role play centre

*Home corner that adapts to the childre's interests

*A playdough area for children to get creative

*A numeracy table

*A literacy table.

Dont forget our Messy Room!! where children are given the chance to get creative through messy play inlcuding, sand, water, paint and anything else that allows the children to get their hands dirty and explore different materials and textures!

We have a separate kitchen for baking, preparing and consuming snack.

Also an adult toilet beside the kitchen.

Our reception area allows parents to read about our latest adventures on our parent notice board and encourages children to change into indoor clothing within the cloakroom before entering the playroom. From this area we have two children's toilets including a disabled facility.

We are very lucky in that we have three amazing outdoor play areas including our concrete playground with markings that allow children to play hop scotch and many other exciting games. We offer children the chance to take their learning outdoors with outdoor blackboards and other ready available resources. Children can enjoy energetic play on their go-karts and scooters or take a ride in our wooden space rocket!

Our garden offers a more natural environment, giving children the opportunity to plant and maintain flowers and to feed the birds. The garden offers large space for children to run free and let off steam after a busy day indoors!

Finally our exciting adventure playground allowing children a chance to set sail on our wooden pirate ship, relax with a book in our reading circle or challenge their fine and gross motor skills on our balancing equipment. As part of our improvement plan, staff are focussing on this area for the year of 2013 and hope to develop it further by intergrating it with learning resources there for allowing children mind meaningful activities outdoors as well as in the classroom.

Want to have a look, come along and have some fun after our playgroup session at 12pm where the park is open to the local public :)
