Grace Evangelical Church

Grace Evangelical Church Ladies enjoyed a taster session of bowls, and we had a lot of fun together. Thanks to David Powell and Ian Brewer for helping out.

AGM

Thank you to all those , who attended. It was an excellent turnout.
It was a particularly special meeting, because Life Membership was given to Anwen Butten, M.B.E. and Martin Walters. Anwen is so well known in bowling circles and her achievements are outstanding. She was also a founder member of the club. We were very honoured to have Anwen at the meeting, where she presented the club with one of her Welsh jerseys, for which we are very grateful. She also presented medals to the winners and runners up of club competitions. Thank you so much.
Martin, too ,was a founder member of Bro Myrddin. He is well known in Carmarthen and is a very talented artist and photographer.
Thanks also to Heulwen Morgan, President of WLBA. for attending.
The meeting was followed by an excellent buffet, which was prepared by our ever willing volunteer ladies. Huge thanks to them.

Stroke Association Game

Bro Myrddin hosted a match between Hubberston Stroke Survivors Bowling Group and Bridgend Stroke Group Society. Thanks to Mr. Peter LLewellyn for arranging such a well organised day. The games were very competitive and everyone received a medal and certificates at the end of the day.

Welsh Vice President's Game 10th August

Today, a Welsh Vice President's game was held at the club. It was a pleasure to welcome the Chairman, Mr. Raymond Jones and Secretary, Mr. Eric Lewis, Together with their team of players.
The game was played in a friendly spirit and the fine weather added to the enjoyment.
Huge thanks to everyone from Bro Myrddin, who helped to make the day a resounding success - those, who cleaned the green, which was immaculate, the ladies , who prepared the delicious food and sold the raffle tickets.

Thank you to all the players, who took part.
