Our implantologist Mark Gillis has ten years experience placing dental implants. He has an MSc in dental implantology from the Eastman Dental Hospital, University of London and is offering free consultations.

Implants consist of a medical-grade titanium support that is placed in the jaw bone where the root of the tooth would have been. The implant then has a porcelain crown fitted on top. Implants can be a single replacement or multiple replacements as required.
The great advantage of implants is that adjacent teeth are not harmed or involved. The long term success rate of dental implants is high, they are often more reliable and stable than a root-filled tooth.
Implants can replace one tooth, can support replacement of several teeth or even a whole jaw making dentures obsolete.
