Congratulations to Bedale, who won the Medal Cup on Saturday with a convincing 5-1 victory over Addingham.

We attended the game between Albert and Pannal Sports last night and were a little dissapointed to see Pannal roll over and offer little resistance against an Albert team gunning for the title. Pannal Sports 0 Albert 10 was the final score. Albert were clearly the better team but must thank the referee for the score giving 3 x penalties and two of the first three goals were a country mile off-side, god only knows which off side rule the ref was using.

It was a little dissapointing that prior to this game Pannal had won their previous three games all away from home scoring 13 goals into the bargain. It must be no coincidence that on all 3 occasions their first team had no game. These three victories have guaranteed Pannals safety from relegation. Its just a shame that Pannal couldn't do the same last night.
