It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Eric Broome. Eric was a superb servant to our club both as player and in later years the manager of our 2nd X1

Eric had spells with several local clubs and no one could ever wish to meet a nicer guy. He always had a smile on his face and he had time for everyone.

On the football field Eric was a winner, competetive and although not of great statue he was totally committed to his team and his colleagues, excellent in the air and skilfull on the ground he was a complete footballer with a sweet left foot.

Deepest sympathy  to Erics family from everyone at Bramham Football Club where you were held in the greatest respect and an inspiration.

On a personal note it was a pleasure and a privelege to spend time in your company and to take the field with you on so many happy and usually succesful occassions. You will be missed by all who knew you
