Todays performance was a mirror image of Bramhams' season, a game in which they created enough chances to win but conceeded goals at regular intervals.
Deighton were quick out of the blocks and took the lead on 15 minutes following a free kick on their left flank. 5 minutes later they were awarded a penalty for what looked an innocuous challenge in the area and at this point they threatened to run away with this game before the interval
Bramham rallied and carried a real aerial threat with Wild and Bowden cauing problems from set pieces and wild pulled a goal back on 25 minutes and following Bowdens challenge from a Wright corner Fisher forced the ball over the line to level the game on 35 minutes.
Two further chances came the home sides way but they were unable to convert and it was Deighton who were looking rocky at the back at this point but the pressure was released when a fine drive from 30 yards flew passed Lloyd in the Bramham goal and gave Deighton the edge at the break.
The second half lacked the sparkle of the first with both defences taking control and chances few and far between. As Bramham pushed for an equaliser they were caught at the back 5 minutes from time Deighton secured the points.
The game had effectively followed the pattern of recent encounters between the two sides with Deighton shading it on the day, with better defending and making the most of the chances that fell their way.
Bramham must now look to win 2 of their remaining 3 fixtures if they are to avoid the drop
