Helperby 0 Bramham Res 5
28 March 2009

A strong wind threatened to make this fixture more difficult as the teams took to the field, but Bramham on the promotion trail made light of it with a fine first half display.

A drive from 20 yards by Jimmy Hurrell had  Bramham a goal up on 20 minutes and when Easby stole in to tap in a second the writing was on the wall for the homeside. Sam Wild rounded off a solid first half from the visitors with a third  and Bramham were well in command.

Playing against the wind in the second half they created several  more openings with Jacklyn being rewarded for his tireless running and Sam Wild heading his second following excellent work on the left by Hurrell.

Farthing back at the heart of the defence was assured and Hulme was inspirational as he drove his team forward with an excellent display
