Bramham involved in "Bung" Scandall
21 September 2006
Bramham involved in Bramham have been drawn into the latest "Bung" Scandall to hit football. On the day that Sam "The cash" Allerdyce was named by the BBC's Panorama programme investigating corruption within the highest level of the game, Bramhams's mr fix-it, Paul Firth (23), was photographed arriving at The Reebock stadium to hold talks with "Big Sam". It is believed Firth had been dispatched by First team manager Mick Wright who is looking at plugging the gaps within the clubs leaky defence. Sources close to the club have reported that Bramham have made an initial enquiry about the ex Real Madrid star "Ivan Campo". Campo is believed to be exited at the prospect of joining a club flying high in the Harrogate League division One, who have just progressed through to the second round of the Barkston Ash cup. This move again proves the lengths that Bramham's money men will go to gain promotion the the Premiership. Firth was tight lipped when questioned leaving the Reebock but their was a telltale smile and the lack of a bulky brown envolope he entered the ground with would suggets that the deal may have been done.
