There was very little between the teams in the first 20 minutes but the half and the match turned on two decisions. Following a corner an infringement occurred and as the players all turned away for a Bramham free kick, referee morfill pointed to the spot for a penalty which the shocked visitors gleefully accepted and took the lead.

10 minutes later a stunning free kick from Wright 40 yards out sailed into the net for an equaliser, but Morfill was once again centre of attention as he ordered a retake, to the supruse of all in attendance.

Spa continued to press and went further ahead on 40 minutes, but again the goal was  clouded in doubt as there was a strong suspicion of offside.

Bramham then felt hard done by as they trooped off at half time, having played some good football in spells.

In the second half Bramham dominated for long spells and a lesser side than Spa would surely have crumbled under sustained pressure. Spa are a resilient well drilled outfit and handled the pressure well, whilst continuing to look dangerous on the break.

As Bramham drove forward Spa made sure of the points 5 minutes from time with a well taken third and although the scoreline was a harsh one for the home side to swallow, they can take many positives from this game, with good performances all over the pitch.
