Rumours are growing that Bramham are to sign a top premiership star from "Portsmouth". Bramhams Mr fix-it "Paul Firth" (24) was photographed arriving and leaving Fratton Park on Wednesday of this week and is believed to have held talks with Harry "The Bung" Redknapp. Firth was tight lipped (for once) when he left the ground but it is believed that discussions were held about the transfer of former England star "Sol Campbell" (31) to Freeley Lane. Insiders at the club informed me that Campbell is keen to play for the club following revelations that he is actually the lovechild of a former top Bramham official?? It is believed that the fee has been agreed and the transfer will go through as soon as Campbell has agreed personal terms and passed a medical. The deal is to be financed by Bramhams own Russian oil Billionaire, Tony "Abramhamovic" Noden. Tony has made it his ambition to get Bramham into the premiership within the next ten years, this might be asking a lot considering the strict criteria set out by the Harrogate FA to get into there premiership but "Noden" has promised to back manager Mick wright in the transfer market and is believed to be putting plans together for a 60,000 all-seater stadium on the outskirts of the village, However it is still believed that this will not meet the Harrogate FA's strict criteria to be invited into the premiership. "Noden" has stated that he will not stop until Bramham are where they belong and if this means re-routing the river "Wharfe" so that it runs south of the village then that is what will be done. "Noden" has already applied to the post office to have Bramhams postcode changed from its "LS" pre-fix to a more suitable "HG" pre-fix
